Up until the mid-1950’s Winter Springs was virtually open land covered in scrub pine and palmettos. Today, the City’s growth rivals that of adjacent Oviedo. With the development of Seminole County’s first upscale golf-course community, Tuscawilla, in the 70’s, Winter Springs began to grow and flourish. In 2007, it was voted 2nd best place to live in Florida by Money Magazine.

Recently, the completion of the Winter Springs Town Center added 2,400 multi-family residential units, 99 single family-homes and over a million square feet of retail space and office space along with apartments, parks and public buildings. For more information, visit: www.winterspringsfl.org.
